Robo is a typical science fiction film.Rajinikanth plays a dual role in this movie as scientist and a robot. In this movie Rajini as the scientist Dr. Vaseegaran creates a robot and named it as Chitti. The robot falls in love with Aishwarya Rai.The chitti starts writing romantic poems. Being aware of the extraordinary artificial intelligence of the robot, the villains try to get the robot. The scientist rajini then fights back to prevent the robot from falling prey to the enemies. The storyrevolves around the battle between the scientist and the evil forces.
